I'm so happy to announce the May 1, 2012 release of my CD 'Tangerine'.
Recorded and Produced by long time collaborators Peter Gallway
and Annie Gallup. Recorded over a long
weekend at Gallway Bay Studio in Santa Barbara, CA and a day at Christina’s House of
Drums in LA last February 2011.
Peter and Annie envisioned a very stripped-down and organic recording, featuring 11 new
songs; voice, electric guitar, and drums. Nothing but the song as Jack Hardy used to say!
Good weather, good friends, two amps in the closet, two dogs on the couch, weed -whackers
blazing outside, magic happened. In a serendipitous event, renown drummer/percussionist
Jerry Marotta was in LA working and vacationing.
Jerry agreed to play on the CD and in a day, brought the project to a whole other level. His
playing is beautifully supportive and exquisitely rich.
And that is the beginning of the story not over. This CD is the good work of many behind
the scene supporters, advisors, friends and family who have never failed to help and inspire me.
